CryptoPics (also known as Nonograms or Griddlers) are logic puzzles which are simple in concept but provide hours upon hours of fun.
Concept Each puzzle is based on a grid of squares of two different colours (commonly black and white). Next to each row and column is a list of numbers representing the squares in that line. Each number represents a group of black squares so, for example, "3 2" means that on this line there is a group of 3 black squares to the left of a group of 2 black squares, with one or more white squares in between. The aim is to reveal the pattern using only the number clues provided. The software The World of CryptoPics software allows you to play these a huge variety of these puzzles, including pre-made picture puzzles, randomly generated puzzles and puzzles generated from images on your computer. It also includes the unique and exciting Challenge Mode, where you have three lives and a fixed amount of time to complete each puzzle. A wealth of options are included, allowing you to customise the gameplay and appearance in almost any way.
